Ya'll be carefull you'll go to hell!!
I am a welding Instructor at a SOUTH east Tennessee Technology High School and a TRADITIONAL BULEGRASS picker for 28 years. " I am 50 years old" In the early years I wanted to be like Sam Bush, but the more I learned about the music the more I went back to the roots. "Flat & Scruggs cranks my handle"!!! Know what I mean. I have played the same school houses the boys have played in the 50's. I learned guitar at the age of 10, played rock& roll till I got turned on to real music in the late 70's. Payed my dues and played all over Gods country "The South". We could have crossed strings somewere. Anyway, this 15 year old kid comes into my class and said: Hey Dude I've got this bulegrass Tribute to Ossie Osborne! I said: Watch out boy you'll go to hell!!! You can't use Bluegrass and Ozzie in the same sentence! There is no "F"in bluegrass!!! He said: Dude stick it in the puter and listen.. I said: NO I don't want to go to HELL!!!
You guys are ture pickers. It was great!!! I can understand the words!! I could not understand OZZie, no southren drawl. I played some of your samples on the web site, Led Zepplin in 3/4 time, man this is way cool. Keep it up. Educate the rest of the world. Play it with the soul of the roots. Ya'll are my new hero's, no you won't go to hell!!
See ya, Dave

FORWARD TO SEEING AND HEARING YOU PERFORM AGAIN.
Enjoyed performance at CYC...joe
Hey I first heard yall at CYC this year and thought
yall were awesome. I bought the Black and Bluegrass CD and its great. I love
bluegrass and so it was right up my ally. And with the previous guys comment I
have to agree I was thankful Brad Montague didnt sing. Yall was a lot better.
Keep on keepin it real.
I happened to be at CYC this year. I thouroly enjoyed
the concert on Friday night. Brooke McCafferty said something about knowing you.
She is dating a real good friend of mine. I bought one your CDs and so far I am
enjoying it. Thank goodness Brad Montague didnt sing.
I love your Fade to Bluegrass album. Heres why. You
identified the talent that metalheads have always sworn is there, seperated it
from its original harsh exterior, and put it into a form that everyone can
understand. That is so incredibly cool. When I was a teenager, I was a rabid
metallica fan. My dad was into bluegrass. We used to go on roadtrips together,
and we would take turns on tapes. I always hoped that he would notice that
behind the screaming guitars there was talent. I cant wait to show this to him
and give him the "Ill give you 3 guesses of who wrote this!".
Yall have a great sounding band and I look foward
hearing yall in Gatlinburg at Cyc
I heard some of your album "fade to bluegrass" I
thought it was a joke at first, but its actually AWESOME Im going to buy my own
copy. You shouldve done Master of Puppets though, and Motorbreath. More Kill
em all wouldve been appreciated. Oh well, keep it up! I may pick up the Ozzy
album while Im at it.
Hey guys, We really enjoyed your playing at the
Russellville Walmart Saturday. Im the one that wants to get you to play at the
Phil Campbell Downtown Hoedown June 17th 2005. Ill e-mail you later> Thanks a
lot for keeping BLuegrass going. You all are fantastic. Rita Barton

Hi! I will be attending Challenge Youth Conference and
am looking forward to hearing your performance on Friday night. Youre clips are
great. I love "Crazy Train"
Im a huge fan of Metallica and when I first heard your
music I liked it instantly....I never knew how good ol tallicas songs would
sound with banjos.
FADE TO BLUEGRASS is EXCELLENT! Its rare possibility
to hear such hi-class tribute combined with authetic bluegrass and country
sounds. Waiting for a possibility to obtain your other albums... Youve got me!
Pity that I cant visit USA to hear you live, but I think that it will be plenty
of people whod like to hear you live in Moscow B2 Music Club (sound there is
the best I ever heard in clubs). I also recommended you to Jeff Hanley, the
program director of KZAM.Net network radio, which is my favorite station. But...
guys, please do something about design of your website... It was ok even in
1999, but not in 2005 :) Sincerely, Ignat Solovey aka Dyor Zenon N.S.P ISP
