I LOVE your music. My friend introduced me to your music last year, and I can't stop listening. My whole family loves you too. PLEASE come to Flagstaff for Pickin in the Pines Music festival. Flagatff would LOVE to have you. http://www.pickininthepines.org/index.html
It's a great venue and beautiful weather.

Howdy from the North! I just had to drop a note since I stumbled onto your website. I don't think I've ever heard of such a talented group able to pull off such tasteful covers of metal bands in a completely different genre. When I first heard your rendition of Unforgiven, truthfully, I laughed for the first minute or so, but after hearing the complex harmonies you introduce into your version, I was hooked. It was the same song, but different in every way. I think the most successful covers are the ones that are able to maintain the musicality of a song, but bring on a whole new meaning - which you nail consistently. Not only are your covers masterpieces in themselves, but your original works are a testament to your genre. You've done an amazing job with your talents, and credit is due. Keep up the good work!
Great Stuff, I love Blue Grass and Ozzy is one of my Fav. artist all time. Super togetrher
First heard of you guys from the CD of "Strummin' With The Devil" and liked you immediately. I have some musical ability, (not enough to have talent), enough to understand and appreciate what you're doing, and I've passed your website on to many! Keep up the awesome work!
INCREDIBLY METAL!!!!
HI GUYS,THI IS UNREAL.AS A METALHEAD AND A FOLK-TRADITIONAL MUSIC FAN I THINK THAT YEE SHOULD BE PLAYING BIG STADIUMS!!!
EVEN MY DAUGHTER(SHE IS 3) LOVES U AND SO DOES MY WIFE.HOPEFULLY WELL SEE U AROUND SOMETIME SOON.
Hey. I got your cd actually from someone I hardly know, and they thought I'd like it. I love it. I work on RealCountry 96.9 WSIG, and our bluegrass show has featured some of your tunes since then. I think it would be amazing if you came to VA, particularly Rockingham County. Me and Les Irby (the ultimate bluegrass fan) would love to hear you, and maybe get you on the air sometime.
hello! i accidentally found out about your band, while looking up the namesake Motorhead song on youtube, ad gotta say this is a very kool and fun priject. and if i may, i'd like to share a little idea with you guys-- i'd love to realize it myself, but doesn't seem like i'll managa eto, anywhere soon: if you don't limit the scope of your covers by metal only, why not try to put to bluegrass a song from a different genre? there once was a great hit 'Hotstepper' by a rap artist called Ini Kamoze; i have for long time thought it fits perfectly into bluegrass style. If i can't realize my dream myself, I'd love to see such great musicians like do that :) therefore, i'm giving you this idea totally for free. best luck, hope to hear more from and about you :)
Thank for your music. Hello from Belgium
GREAT MUSIC!!! Love the Metallica stuff! I hope you guys do great!
Hello Iron Horse,
My name is Stacie Grissom and I am a sophomore at DePauw University in Indiana. I am writing a research paper on bluegrass right now and I am focusing on Bill Monroe. I was just wondering if or how you guys are influenced by him.
I have been listening to you guys for a few years now, I especially love your Modest Mouse and Shins covers. Keep up the awesome work.
Sincerely,
Stacie Grissom
I have been travelling non-stop for the past three years. My dad and I set out to sail around the world. Almost two years ago in Tahiti I heard your Modest Mouse tribute blaring out of a California bloke's Tayana 37'. I inisited he make me a copy and have been spreading the Iron Horse gospel ever since. You're music took me home to the South and let me stay on the water in the Pacific at the same time. I don't know how I could ever fully express my admiration for your concept, appreciation for your talent, or the sheer joy listening to you play. I am living in New Zealand for the time being and wish you to know that Kiwis also enjoy your style.
I have recently been obsessed with the idea of you covering the Violent Femmes. I felt like I was struck with genious until I thought it over and realized you must get bombarded with cover suggestions. So I'll leave it at this. Keep doing what you're doing cause we like it. We like it a lot.
Cheers,
Cassie

Keep up the great work! Can't wait to hear the Goo Goo Dolls album. Any chance on doing an album covering Stone Temple Pilots? Or maybe Chris Cornell? I'd love to see an album of Bluegrass covers of grunge songs!
I have to say, I'm amazed at your detailed and well put together renditions of my favorite band, Metallica! I've since purchased the first AND second discs to add to my collection. Keep up the great work, guys, and I'm looking forward to listening to all of your other works out here in toasty Las Vegas!
Love the modest mouse tribute. Great stuff. I've got a suggestion for your next one: Built to Spill. I think the music would translate wonderfully.
You have inspired this Rock-N-Roll Bass player to learn the Banjo (Ride the Lightning cover) I have a Global 5 String to learn on.
Any advice for a 43 year old beginner ;)
Thanks for your time and Music
I heard you guys for the first time today. A friend of mine posted a youtube video of your metallica tribute on his facebook. I was hooked. I live in Wilkes County NC home of Doc Watson and the Merle Watson Festival. You may have played here in the past, if not we would love to see you @ the festival. Thanks!!
E-mail tour dates if possible I am a ardent fan that has never seen Iron Horse in person keep up the good work!
I love your stuff. When are you going to be in Montgomery?
