I just wanted to thank you for such an amazing album as Fade to bluegrass. Metallica has been a great inspiration to me in many levels, and I love to see what other people can do with their songs, and you guys are the best I've heard so far (and believe me, I've heard a LOT of covers and tributes so that gotta mean something).
On the other hand, even though I don't really listen bluegrass I do love it, so that's another reason to like your work.
Thanks a lot for making Fade to bluegrass.

I never thought I would ever hear Modest Mouse played this way. It is incredible and love your music. Think you should make your way up to the Forever Bluegrass festival in Chattanooga. Just finished up at Auburn and wish I could have seen you somewhere in ole alabam.

Howdy from the North! I just had to drop a note since I stumbled onto your website. I don't think I've ever heard of such a talented group able to pull off such tasteful covers of metal bands in a completely different genre. When I first heard your rendition of Unforgiven, truthfully, I laughed for the first minute or so, but after hearing the complex harmonies you introduce into your version, I was hooked. It was the same song, but different in every way. I think the most successful covers are the ones that are able to maintain the musicality of a song, but bring on a whole new meaning - which you nail consistently. Not only are your covers masterpieces in themselves, but your original works are a testament to your genre. You've done an amazing job with your talents, and credit is due. Keep up the good work!

First heard of you guys from the CD of "Strummin' With The Devil" and liked you immediately. I have some musical ability, (not enough to have talent), enough to understand and appreciate what you're doing, and I've passed your website on to many! Keep up the awesome work!

Hey. I got your cd actually from someone I hardly know, and they thought I'd like it. I love it. I work on RealCountry 96.9 WSIG, and our bluegrass show has featured some of your tunes since then. I think it would be amazing if you came to VA, particularly Rockingham County. Me and Les Irby (the ultimate bluegrass fan) would love to hear you, and maybe get you on the air sometime.
