Much love to Iron Horse!
Introduced to your music through a friend. As both a fan of Metallica and Bluegrass I instantly fell in love with both Fade to Bluegrass CDs. Cant wait to check out your other offerings. Come to Chicago, Id go to that concert.
Hello. Very cool web site!! Man .. Beautiful .. Wonderful .. I will bookmark your site and take the feeds also...Im happy to find numerous useful information right here within the article. Thanks for sharing..
Your music is a lot of fun and youre obviously quite skilled at what you do--keep up the great work!
What would be really cool is if you would collaborate with Lou Reid on an experimental 2-CD album about the life of Lulu Roman from Hee Haw.
...Or maybe not.
You have become our standard work music in our office and I wanted to email you as a show of appreciation. I sincerely hope that you can make it back across the boarder and pay us a visit soon. Please put me on your mailing list so I can keep abreast of your tour dates.
Best Regards,
Ted Ratcliffe
I just found (by accident), some of your covers of Rock Legends on youtube tonight. Absolutely amazing, keep up the fantastic work!
I was introduce to you by a friend of mine about 2 years ago. At the time I was big into modest mouse and pickin on modest mouse blew me away. I liked bluegrass a little at the time but after I heard you guys it opened my eyes.
Anyway, Im not quite a musician but I can play. Ive played guitar for 13 years. I also play drums and any percussion, Ive got a little cajon Im rockin right now and love I love it. BUT I just bought a banjo and Ive been learning some easier tunes. Tried learning fire on the mountain, got the first lick down but thats it. Im not using finger picks. Ive grown custom to growing my nails playing flamenco. Is this hurting my finger picking speed somehow on the banjo? Or is it just playing those riffs over and over till youre up to speed? maybe a metronome? One last thing, if you could tell me what tuning differnt city is in or if its just capo on 3. (banjo of course) That would be real cool. If you want you can just send me the music sheets for fire on the mountain and different city..... HA ha...ha...
Thanks guys, keep kickin blusegrass ass! I think you might like it here in Cumberland BC, Canada!
It was great to see you in Rogersville! Id only been introduced to your music about a month before, but I was looking at concert dates 30 minutes after first hearing your music. The show was definitely worth the drive from GA. My only regret is that the friend that introduced me to your music wasnt able to make it to the show, but thank you for the autographed album. Its going to be the best Christmas surprise present he could ever hope for. Youre his favorite band.
Yall have a great sound. I enjoy many different types of music. One being bluegrass and another being rock. The way youve blended them is awesome.
So waiting for fade to bluegrass volume three would really like to hear a unforgiven II and III cover
I feel, lonely and forgotten! as if he was betrayed! good! need to take a whiskey and listen to bluegrass!!!!!

Ricky, I just ran across your business card. Hard to believe it has been since April, 2008 that I saw you and Iron Horse at the Flying Monkey Theater. It was fall of 93 that I was liberated from Prestolite. I see you and the band have been busy. Thats great. I see you will be at the Athens Fiddlers Convention. Maybe, I can catch you there. This spring, I went in 1/3rds on a Gulf Shores condo. I have discovered a great music scene there with lots of singer songwriters. A lot of their music starts early (6 or 7pm) which is great for me. Hope all is well with you, family and Iron Horse.
